This wild earth Venusian Tabernacle is a birthing egg; a sacred space for seeding intentions, devotional offerings, and potential. This unique wild altar is made to mount on your wall and is one of a kind. The one you see here is the one you receive. Somehow it reminds me of the holy water wall sconces we used to use as children, and of course, this Tabernacle can be worked with for blessings in this way too.
These are lovingly handsculpted from wild pink kaolin clay that I hand gathered in the Balkans. After a year of processing and curing the clay, this wild earth gorgeousness was shaped by hand into what you see here, and fired in the kiln. This stunning clay is not something that I was able to easily share via the camera, the natural shimmer and gentle mottled tones of pinks and creams throughout are something that can only truly be appreciated in person.
I do make my own wild glazes but the beauty of this rare pink clay needs to be experienced in its natural state and have the surface remain raw to the touch. Glazes would only take from this natural beauty. These natural organic curves and surfaces have been touched by my fingertips only.
