These have been formulated as both a liquid smudge and potent sacred space spray, however you can incorporate them into your daily rituals in many ways (see below for suggestions).
These olfactory adventures might just be the one single ritual offering that has taken me the longest to make - it has taken eight years to gather every single plant, tree, lichen, fungi, moss and resin ingredient from the forests and woods around our home and formulate them into these incredible fluid spirit offerings! It's the essence of slow medicine, and it shows.
I personally work with space mysts in several different ways - if I am leaving the house to run errands or travelling, I bring one with me to ground and protect myself while on the move and cleanse the spaces I might be staying in. I integrate them into group ritual and all classes to ground and harmonize, and before we do journeying work so as to ensure each is cleansed and protected. I work with them as part of the space clearing I do in my clinic between patients as well as the cleansing I do post ceremony. If I am met with a challenge or situation that attempts to unnerve or uncenter me during the day, I spray this around my head and body for additional protection. I work with them to uplift and support clients going through challenging times, and I work with them to assist me to transition from the active part of the working day to the more restful and reflective slow paced evening. I work with them in the morning when setting intentions for the day, and even take them with me when traveling as refreshing and fragrant facial sprays. The possibilities are endless really...
My partner is not a fan of smoke cleansing (ritual fumigation) in our house as he prefers the smell of the herbs not to go into his work clothes, so this is a perfect alternative to work with and indeed, a good alternative too for those who may be living in apartment buildings or shared accommodation where smoke is not permitted! Rather than refer to this botanical distillation as a 'mist', I call it a 'myst', a nod to its mystical properties and the magic within.There are so many ways that I incorporate these each day that I could quite literally write about it indefinitely, however the invitation - as with ALL that I offer here in this store - is for you to discover and cultivate your own ceremony and way of working with these ritual tools.
