The heART of Ritual

Seasonal Poetry & Prose: 'Hoar Frost', by Moira Cameron

In icy cover of the dark- too cold, the Arctic air can’t muster up the will or care to gust- strange magic thrives in stillness stark: For growing lifeless on each tree replacing leaves of barren branch, fine crystals, feather-fair, enhance a sparkling, twinkling world Faerie. For days the winter winds hold still, made mute to honour and respect this winter wonderland effect that we, of joy, might take our fill.
