Growth Interference quartz is an unusual variety of crystal having the natural appearance of being carved with a saw.  It has shared its growth with very thin flat Calcite crystals (since dissolved) that developed at an angle to the lower prism faces of the crystal. This has resulted in indented lines at the base of the crystal.

If we agree to work with such a crystal it may be because we seek to understand why certain blockages are present in our lives. Growth Interference quartz increases our understanding of the roots of such blockages, illuminating how we can best shift our attitude in order to turn what hinders us into something that teaches us and ultimately frees us.

We can also learn from this crystal through its growing conditions - the quartz has continued to grow even though it was at one time restricted. Its strength lies in its patience and tenacity. Yet the obstacle that once restricted the quartz has left its mark - which offer us valuable lessons in adaptability, flexibility, and not trying to hide our wounds ... rather letting the scars of previous experiences show who we are and how far we have come.
 
This is a very large growth intereference quartz crystal in general, and it was carved by hand by master carver Leandro Souza who is considered the premier crystal skull carver in the world today. I met Leandro personally 'by chance' just over a decade ago at a crystal convention, and this is one of two crystal skulls that came home with me thereafter. The other skull is also part of this season's collection, masterfully crafted from beautiful sparkly Lepidolite, Pink Tourmaline and Golden Muscovite Mica and more suited to the 'High Mind State of BEing', promoting mindful presence and inner calm.
 
Please note that this crystal colleague is intended for personal work, especially to support those in teaching/facilitating roles so that they can expand and grow into those roles in the way they need to. This crystal is not suited for group work, session work with others, or as a decorative dust catcher for an altar or 'spiritual prop' on social media. This crystal is a worker, so please please do not waste its time (or your own) by calling it home to you unless you are open to them and will honour them and their roles fully.
