Women's Health Herbal Tisanes (Loose Leaf Tea Blends)
I personally love receiving the herbs in my mouth as I drink my tea each day, and use the fruits and berries in baking afterwards. Nothing goes to waste in this house. However - I am aware that there are those who prefer not to have 'bits' in their teas, which is why I made these 'tea jewel' strainers for these blends. Simply add your tea blend inside the strainer, close it, and place the strainer in your cup or teapot to steep (making sure the decorative end it hanging over the edge and not in the tea!). Each of these strainers comes with detachable jewels, a sugilite crystal, amethyst/rose quartz crystal, and a beautiful natural slice of Yew tree. This Yew came from a snow fallen branch from my favorite Yew during the snow storm of January 2019. It is natural and not modified or enhanced in any way. Why did I add tea jewels? Because my personal practice is to mindfully drink tea and make ceremony of it. Including crystals and plant spirit to this gives an extra dimension and depth. To clean your strainer, simply detach the jewels at the clip. Re-attach the jewels once dry. Simple! These particular crystals were selected for their calming and meditative properties, the Yew as it is the tree of Samhain which marks the end of the old and the beginning of the new. In Celtic tradition it is said that the Yew is the 'tree of life', and the oldest Yew in the world is believed to be 3000 years old. Yew is one of my most favorite trees, I love its colour, shape and myths, and I love the beautiful colours and textures of its wood. It's exceptional. Please do not place the Yew slice in your mouth or tea, like all good crones - it is toxic! To call the tea jewels home, simply select from the drop down meno. Price is per piece.
