This listing is for one packet of Wildflower Crown (Herbal Hair Rinse) from The heART of Ritual.

Rinsing our hair with wildflowers is an old ritual practice that immerses us in nature and deepens our connection with the wild beauty within. Our Wildflower Crown herbal hair rinse is lovingly made with wild medicinal herbs and flowers that cleanse, condition, and nourish your hair, stimulate the hair follicles, and soothe your scalp.

My personal practice is to leave the rinse in my hair as a leave in tonic treatment. Regarding the botanicals, it is entirely up to you if you filter them out before pouring the rinse over your hair, however I like the idea of flowers in my hair afterwards. They normally fly off by themselves as my hair dries naturally, however if this does not appeal to you, then feel free to filter them out beforehand and compost them. I especially love to pour this over my hair outdoors in the garden during the summer months as it is cooling during warm days and terribly romantic to have wildflowers falling from your BEing while you dance around in your favorite tea dress! Yes, that is how it is here, I am an advocate of play and a true romantic, and apart from anything else, your hair treatment then gives you the added bonus of colourful wildflower strewn paths in the days thereafter (which magically return to the land). In this way, it becomes a treatment not just for the hair, but for mind, body and soul, AND your garden too. I invite you to try it, its such a lovely thing to do!

Be mindful that you will need to place a drain plug in your bath/shower so that it can catch any blossoms that may magically fall from your hair while bathing! ;-)

In order to retain the medicinal values and colours in this blend, please ensure you store in a cool, dry and dark place.

Themes & Focus for this Collection

Our upcoming seasonal shop opening coincides with the Celtic Festival of Samhain and takes place within the liminal space between the last new moon of the Celtic year in October, astronomical Samhain, and the first new moon of the Celtic New Year in November. It is during this time that the death of the old (year) and the birth of the new (year) occurs. With this we enter the dreamtime cycle of moons; a time honouring the birth that takes place during and after the darkest times. It is a potent time of observing blood, bones, ancestors, (re)connection, introspection, and 'getting to know the lay of the land'...within. Many refer to this time as a 'thinning of the veils', however those of us whose ears are finely tuned, we know that the 'veil' is always thin.
