As twilight slips across the land and the shadows stretch long like stories whispered through stone, draw your bath as you would gather for ceremony. This is no hurried wash — this is a return, a remembering, a soft rite of the heart. A salt soak for those who long to steep themselves in gentleness, to bathe in the dreamscape of mythological time, where the body slows and the soul listens.
 
Blend together what the land offers in her loving abundance: hand-harvested salt to ground and cleanse, wild rose petals to open the heart like dawn, meadowsweet to soften the aching places, elderflower for the spirit’s lightness, a pour of full milk for nourishment, and raw honey — golden, healing, ancient — to sweeten the wound and mend what has worn thin.
 
The lore runs deep: in the Ireland of long ago, to bathe in milk and honey was no luxury, but devotion — a practice of tending to the body as holy, worthy, beloved. Honey, that sacred gift of the bees, was known as leighis milis — the sweet cure — used to draw out heat, to seal wounds, to anoint the skin with the very nectar of life. Elderflower, long called the flower of the fae, lifts the spirit into brightness; meadowsweet, once strewn in sacred spaces and laid in bridal beds, carries the balm of calm and soft joy.
 
This bath is a threshold — a portal into Tír na nÓg, the ever-young land, the mythic isle swathed in mist beyond the reach of time. Some say it hovers just beyond Sceallig Mhichíl, rising out of the Atlantic like a dream half-remembered. Others say it is a place we carry in the marrow, where time folds in on itself and the old knowing returns.
 
Slip beneath the surface and feel the stories rise around you. Let the petals speak to the part of you that remembers how to rest. Let the honey draw out what is sharp, weary, forgotten. Let the milk wrap around your bones like a mother’s cloak. You are entering dreamscape now, the in-between, where fire lives not in destruction but in the slow, glowing hearth of rebirth.
 
Stay as long as you need. Drift. Listen. Allow yourself to be remade in the waters of softness.
 
And when you rise, may you carry the shimmer of Tír na nÓg upon your skin — glowing, luminous, touched by something ancient and endlessly tender.

To use: add one tablespoon of the salt soak blend to running bath water, and relax. Please ensure that you drink at least one large glass of water after your bath to assist your body flush out.
