This listing is one glass apothecary jar filled with Thorn Medicine Gelée, from The heART of Ritual.
 
'Thorn Medicine' is a term I coined that relates with reclaiming and rebuilding healthy boundaries, energetic protection, cutting cords, and defining the edges of Self. You can hear a nice little fireside chat about healthy boundaries, protection, connecting with Self, and the poignant teachings we can receive from thorns here.
 
This gelée was co- created on Samhain from Sloes (the fruit of the Blackthorn) that I gathered at the stone circle behind my fathers home. Added to this are wild Rosehips and Crab Apples, Haws, and Wild Roses. All of these ingredients are from green family that bear thorns, hefty thorns. They are the ones I go to when Thorn Medicine is needed. All of these plants are in the rose family, this is no accident.
 
In addition to the medicinal properties of these wild botanical ingredients, this gelée has been elevated through the addition of botanical extracts, flower essences and crystal essences to support release, deep grounding, protection, strengthening of the root chakra, and the element of Earth while also ensuring any residual pain from undesirable situation(s) does not harden around one's heart.
 
Gelée's are a pantry staple each year, and anyone who has participated in my residential retreat programs will know these as they usually end up eating them from the jar by the spoon - they are that good! At home we save these as a special birthday treat each year with freshly baked croissants. These gelée's are incredibly fragrant and delicious on bread, toast, baked goods, with a fruit salad, even with natural yoghurt.
 
This preserve comes in a beautiful locally made recycled glass apothecary jar, complete with our wild botanical Celtic Wheel of the Year mandala art debossed in a wax seal made with handgathered finely ground pyrite, selenite, and biotite crystals. Each jar is adorned with a floral crown.
 
As with all offerings, every single ingredient has been hand gathered, dried and prepared by me personally, ensuring sustainable, biodynamic and ceremonious gathering of plant medicines, highest quality organic ingredients, and energetic integrity from start to finish.
 
Keep refrigerated and use within three months. Our handcrafted SOULFOODS are free of all additives, preservatives, artifical flavours, colourings, sweetners etc. We make real food, with real ingredients.
