An absolute must have for lovers of ritual bathing, and a much needed relaxing soak for busy mermaids at the end of the working week!

This beautiful offering layers mineral rich salts, fine crystal powders of quartz and selenite, healing herbs that relate with the Moon (feminine BEing), Venus (Love), the Water Element and the Emotional Body, powdered seaweed (which turns your bathing water emerald green!) and fragrant blossoms, making this a feast for the senses. Lovingly made with the very best of wild medicinals from the land and sea, and deliciously fragrant too thanks to the powdered ruby red wild rose petals that are contained within. Note that in Ireland we work therapeutically with seaweed *alot* due to its incredible minerals and ability to support detoxification. Seaweed soaks are very old folk remedies for manys a malady, from healing a bewitchment by an ocean hag to curing afflictions of the liver!

These ingredients are layered in a way so as to visually represent the rolling waves of the ocean.

This mineral rich blend can be used as full body bath salts and/or foot baths. Alternatively if you add some melted coconut oil to the mixture, it makes a wonderful exfoliating salt scrub!

Themes & Focus for this Collection

Our upcoming seasonal shop opening coincides with the Celtic Festival of Samhain and takes place within the liminal space between the last new moon of the Celtic year in October, astronomical Samhain, and the first new moon of the Celtic New Year in November. It is during this time that the death of the old (year) and the birth of the new (year) occurs. With this we enter the dreamtime cycle of moons; a time honouring the birth that takes place during and after the darkest times. It is a potent time of observing blood, bones, ancestors, (re)connection, introspection, and 'getting to know the lay of the land'...within. Many refer to this time as a 'thinning of the veils', however those of us whose ears are finely tuned, we know that the 'veil' is always thin.
