This listing is for one 'Seafoam' Tableware Set, from The heART of Ritual.

Our Seafoam tablewear is a collection of wild vessels from the verge between land and sea that mindfully honours food as medicine, food as ceremony, and conscious nourishment.

Just eight of these stunning hand crafted sets are available. Each set includes:

- one large high rimmed dinner platter

- one XL bowl (perfect for breakfast cerials, smoothie bowls, puddings, and one pot wonders ~ I love curling up with this cupped in my hands, drinking a wholesome soup, stew, casserole, ramen or nourishing broth during the colder months). This bowl is very large, it holds a minimum of half a liter!

- one tea tumbler

- one cacao tumbler

- one (insanely cute) mini elixir tumbler

- one large hand woven nettle fiber place mat

- one ecodyed Irish linen napkin (made from 100 year old hand woven linen, botanically with acorn caps and peat).

Please note that a video of this collection can be seen on our instagram reels if you would like to see it.

The 'Seafoam' collection is made from wild clay gathered along the north and south shores of Bantry Bay, and glazed with Kelp gathered on the beach (in a place called Beach). No two pieces are the same. Visual inspiration for these were the grains of sand on the smooth wet beach and the movement of the sea as it gently kisses the shore. I tried to capture this through a lush contrast between the fine lines of the clay and the organic form and movement of the glaze as it rolls over the clay. The glaze worked some incredible magic as there are all sorts of gorgeous patterns and pearly colours to be seen throughout.

Over the past while I've shared images on how I gathered, processed, hand sculpted, and glazed these vessels, along with photos of the landscape and seascape that inspired them. If you would like to read more on this, feel free to scroll through my social media profiles.

All of the vessels created for this collection are glazed with food safe materials and strictly speaking should be possible to put in the dishwasher, but I personally would not. I feel gently and lovingly hand washing our ritual tools and caring for them respectfully is a vital part of spiritual practice.
