I'm a big advocate of facial grains to cleanse and exfoliate and a no-fuss minimal skin care routine, ideally a small number of key products that require minimal time in the bathroom. I'm also a big fan of being able to use what I make in different ways, and its important that they can be used by all ages and all genders. This offering was created exactly for this time of year here in the northern hemisphere where we experience cold winter weather outside, and hot dry air inside. This can play havoc on our skin, and it can get stressed, dried out, begin flaking, and generally loose its lustre.
 
These facial grains revitalise and brighten by exfoliating dead skin cells. It conditions and remineralizes the skin, and assists with the removal of free radicals and enhances lymph drainage. This deeply nourishing recipe also includes finely powdered Selenite and Pearl powders, and Swiss Stone Pine resin to support the repair and healing of blemishes.
 
To use: Place a teaspoon of the facial grains into a small bowl, glass or jar. Mix a small amount of water with it so that you create a paste. Apply to make up free skin, gently exfoliating in circular motions and being careful to avoid the eyes, mucus membranes, delicate skin (such as sunburn, fresh scars etc). Leave for 15-20 minutes, and gently remove with warm water. For an extra boost, these facial grains can also be mixed with avocado (for additional fatty acids), freshly mashed banana (for additional potassium), raw honey (antibacterial) and natural organic yoghurt (helpful for teenage acne or other inflamatory skin conditions).
