Each bottle is a temple space unto itself. Inside, an altar containing a full sensory fluid prayer for your wellBEing. Each is encrusted with absolutely stunning black plant pigment (charred Mugwort and Willow), black crystals and mineral powders, and clay body that Niamh developed for this seasons offerings, for you to etch your personal and unique symbols, sigils, words and other marks upon.
 
Lovingly handcrafted from wild native medicinal herbs and fine crystal powders, this range of potent plant and crystal ritual hydrosols will enchant and enrapture the senses with the essence and energy they carry. Each bottle is both a potent ceremony and a spell in one. Each vessel is adorned with seasonal wild native botanicals and a miniature key! You will also receive a complimentary tool to use for etching your personal symbols and/or words upon these vessels.
 
My partner is not a fan of smoke cleansing (ritual fumigation) in our home as he prefers not to have the the smell of herbal smoke his work clothes, so this is a perfect alternative to work with and indeed, a good alternative too for those who may be living in apartment buildings or shared accommodation where smoke is not permitted!
 
Rather than refer to this botanical distillation as a 'mist', I call it a 'myst', a nod to its mystical properties and the magic within. There are so many ways that I incorporate these each day that I could quite literally write about it indefinitely, however the invitation - as with ALL that I offer here in this store - is for you to discover and cultivate your own ceremony and way of working with these ritual tools. A note too to mention that these are also wonderful to spray on your pillow at night before going to sleep, to protect you while you go within and rest.
 
Please use common sense when using these topical products and do not spray on skin that is broken or delicate (such as the mucus membranes), or in the eyes. Do not ingest!

Themes & Focus for this Collection

Our upcoming seasonal shop opening coincides with the Celtic Festival of Samhain and takes place within the liminal space between the last new moon of the Celtic year in October, astronomical Samhain, and the first new moon of the Celtic New Year in November. It is during this time that the death of the old (year) and the birth of the new (year) occurs. With this we enter the dreamtime cycle of moons; a time honouring the birth that takes place during and after the darkest times. It is a potent time of observing blood, bones, ancestors, (re)connection, introspection, and 'getting to know the lay of the land'...within. Many refer to this time as a 'thinning of the veils', however those of us whose ears are finely tuned, we know that the 'veil' is always thin.
