Lovingly made with wild mineral rich seaweeds and healing herbs, this silky serum is both a wonderful treatment for the skin as part of your regular skincare routine, and a deeply restorative remedy that soothes, cools, and rehydrates skin that may be dry or irritated.
I make this emerald green coloured serum in early summer each year as a rehydration treatment for sun kissed skin, however I have found that I use it year round to protect my skin from the seasonal elements. For me, it goes beyond hydrating after summer sun, but as skin is prone to dryness in winter too due to cold winds and indoor central heating, this is a great conditioner to work with.
This should be applied to clean skin, preferably exfoliated skin if in winter. Avoid the eyes and any delicate areas. Leave on for as long as you wish and wash off with warm water. Note that I very often tend to apply this lightly and leave it on overnight, as a deeply conditioning serum, and it soaks into my skin while I sleep. It leaves no residue or film on the skin in my case, but of course if it does in yours, then all you have to do is gently wipe it off with a warm damp face cloth. I personally like to keep this cool in the fridge over the summer so that if I get overheated, its deliciously cooling on the skin! ;-)
