This listing is for one large Pine, Gem Silica and Snake Talking Stick (with natural petroglyphs), from the Heart of Ritual. The one you see here is the one you receive.
The details on this wood is simply mindblowing, these petroglyphs are 'written' by insects which are generally considered air element totems. In order to preserve this natural beauty, and honour each piece, I created an amber oil for this wood that not alone references a resin that insects are regularly discovered in, but also the warming hues of Imbolc's sacred fire!
This is accented by a gem silica, chrysocolla, malachite and cuprite crystal that I hand carved especially for this piece. This combination crystal is an extraordinary mothering stone, and greatly nurtures those it comes into contact with. Those of you that are already familiar with the work I do will know that I love working with naturally shed snake skin on hand held ritual items, for it relates with metamorphosis, transformation and our ability to outgrow limitation. The area around the cabochon has been embellished with snake skin for this very reason.
Note that I purposely placed the crystal and snakeskin at the center of the talking stick so that it is more likely to come into direct contact with skin when passed from one hand to another.
Spring is about communication, clarity, and truth - hence the talking stick!
