• Mugwort Dream Oil
This potent ritual oil is lovingly co-created with one of my most dear plant mentors, Mugwort. A wonderful ally to assist in dream journeying, dream recall, vision quest, insight, divination, connection with feminine/lunar aspect of Self, and a much revered all round healer for women. She is one of the seven sacred herbs to the druids, and a master herb in the Celtic tradition both in the lunar wheels of the year and solar wheel of the year. This ritual blend was created over thirteen moon cycles.
This bottle is adorned with highly textured natural structural paste made from pale green clay that I gathered along the river, ocean tumbled quartz that I gathered along the shores of Bantry Bay, and selenite that I gathered at the shoreline in Spain. The results reflect the minty green colour of Mugwort, a reflection and playful nod to the fluid prayer held within this vessel. Inside you will also find full moon harvested Mugwort blossoms, which you can see and inJoy through the window in this vessel.
Each vessel is adorned with a mini posey of wild lunar botanicals, and a hand written plant fiber paper label embossed with our Celtic Wheel of the Year mandala art. These are lovingly held in place with a beautiful plant fiber cordage made from mugwort and rose.
13 Moon Wild Mugwort Dream Oil
Before bed (or supine meditation), gently massage a few drops onto the root chakra, solar plexus chakra, throat chakra, third eye chakra, the top of your forehead, and behind the ears. Breathe deeply. When you feel you are fully centered, apply a few more drops onto the soles of your feet, the underside of your hands, your womb, and on the back, between your shoulders. Close your eyes. Relax your body. Lay for a few moments and visualize the silvery moonlight as being the colour of your breath. With every inhale this colour enters into your body and travels into your lungs, with every exhale this colour radiates outwards so that your entire body begins to take on this beautiful moonlight colour. Continue to sit quietly and do this breathwork exercise until you observe (or feel) that your entire body radiates this colour. When you feel ready, invite the oversoul of Mugwort to impart her wisdom and insights. Lay quietly, remain centered...and listen. If your personal practice includes journaling, you might like to leave your journal and pencil next to you so that you can document your experience when you wake up.
This is 100% pure whole plant herbal oil of Mugwort (not to be mistaken for an infused oil). Please note that that Mugwort is not recommended for those who are pregnant or breast feeding. This oil comes to you in a 30ml upcycled glass bottle with hand dipped beeswax sealed cork, adorned with sprigs of full moon solar eclipse harvested Mugwort, and complete with our wild botanical Celtic Wheel of the Year mandala art. Within each bottle is shimmery fine crystal powder of selenite (lunar crystal, and a beautiful visual reference to moonlight), a hand gathered herkimer crystal (to amplify the healing qualities of the oil), a sprig of mugwort (insights, illumination of the dark), a rowan berry (to protect while journeying), and a dried Belladonna berry (to assist your sight, vision, and perception).
