Journeying the Moon Wheel: A 28 Day Exploration of Cyclical Lunar BEing™

  • 36 Steps

About

This is a land-rooted, poetic, and myth-infused guide through the lunar cycle, honouring Irish cosmology and the sacred wheel of time. It is an invitation into rhythm — the rhythm of the moon, the land, the body, and the mythic imagination. Here, the moon is not merely observed, but moved with. It is not simply a marker of time, but a teacher of BEing. In Irish cosmology, the moon is a guide, a mirror, a weaver, and revered as a living participant in the rhythm of life. She governs tides — not just of water, but of blood, breath, and soul. Her light is not constant but cyclical, teaching us that wisdom lives in phases. She holds within her the teachings of becoming, dissolving, and returning. We move with the moon in this journey not in abstraction, but in the embodied spiral of time and psyche. Each phase of the moon is mirrored both in the land’s turning and our own cycles. Each day offers a theme, a symbolic resonance, a story or Irish myth, and a ritual or reflection that roots it in place and practice. This daily practice-based offering spans 28 days and over 45,000 words of original lunar teachings, ritual practice, folklore, reflection prompts, and story. Rooted in Irish lunar cosmology, it invites a return to cyclical living through a cultural lens that is native to the land I come from. These teachings have grown from years of embodied seasonal work and ancestral study, and are offered as part of a longer lineage of oral tradition and soul-tending. This is not spiritual mimicry—it is the moon as we know her, in our own tongue.
